Medical Tourism

Hindi films of the 70s like Milli showed charaters going abroad for treatment , even Indian President Zail Singh went abroad for his surgery. Today I read news of many coming to India for treatment like the heaviest woman, people from neighbouring countries etc.

Where are you welcome?

We need to knock at many doors to know where we are welcome.

Power And Electricity

I went to a Govt. School in Gurgaon to conduct a session for JA. During the session with Class 8 girl students there was a powercut. I mentioned to them that as early as 2014 there were 18000 villages in India with no electric pole and one girl promptly said "like my village"
On meeting target set by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 15, 2015 to electrify 18,000 villages from remote areas in 1,000 days, the Power minister Piyush Goyal informed on 10 Jun 2017 that so far 14,700 have been electrified and the balance 3,800 will be electrified ahead of schedule.
