Gold medalists

Although we rarely find gold medalist in sports in our country we find them in plenty in other domains although without a reference to the reason for the gold medal. Every second doctor, lawyer, Astro numerologist etc. are one. I remember the dialogue from the film "Lage Raho Munnabhai" which says "Everyone in our class comes first, nobody comes second!".
