On the fast track

ABC company received several new orders and decided to fast track recruitment. Khushi turned up for an interview, she was ushered in and made to wait in the reception. The interviewer was called to take her interview. Rohit though surprised to be called for taking the interview left all his work and came down. There were several people like Khushi so Neha from HR thought perhaps somebody else in HR might have called Khushi. Since recruitment was the "flavour of the day" the interview was arranged at a short notice. Rohit found Khushi to be slitghtly lacking in skills though but thought that it could be covered in the on the job training, Neha who took the HR interview also felt the same. Neha informed that they were doing fast track recruitment which meant that there was no medical test. There was a "track" a straight strip of land outside there building a brisk jog across the track was the medical test for the "fast track" recruitment.  Khushi made the cut with her run as the appointment letter was presented to her as she reached the other end. Khushi accepted the letter and joined the company. She was worried about where she will stay, when she will get het bank account etc.. To add to the confusion she was told to undergo many training programs. Such was the rush of people in the company that as Khushi joined she got invites to several meetings at the same time. Due to limited meeting rooms availability she was surprised to see location of one meeting as "Pillar No. 4, basement". Khushi randomly selected meetings to attend and completed tests as part of training with "help" from other new hires. According to her this was in line with the company policy expalined by HR during orientation as "help each other". It was not a comfortable experience for Khushi as she juggled between assignments, meetings and training. She tried contacting Rohit several times but he always informed he was busy. A year into the job she felt enough was enough and decided to quit. She called  Rohit that she was leaving the company and wanted to speak to him. Rohit called her to a meeting room. Khushi informed Rohit that she had tried to speak to him during her interview and later when she joined the company that she had actually come for an interview to the company next to ABC's building and came into the ABC's building as there was no board outside, security sent her to reception they asked if had come for interview and then it went on. It was only when she got the appointment letter that it dawned on her, but she thought that may be she could manage and joined the company. Rohit was expecting to interview a candidate the next day and was surprised person landed that day but did not suspect anything. Rohit wished Khushi the very best for her new job in another company.
