Rajiv was middle aged, married with Children. There was always one thing he always desired but never had and it was a guru. He decided to find that person somehow to have more meaning in his life.He went through popular social networking sites and read people's public profiles. He also went through blogs. After spending several months researching he found a blog interesting. He felt he had found his guru. The blogs were updated at the most only once a month. After reading through the literature in the blogs he starting framing a personality of the person he thought could be his guru. It looked very unconventional. The person appeared to be a spinster who was younger to him, was a spinster. Once who was average academically and was a yoga teacher living somewhere in the same city as he was living. After a few months of reading the blogs he decided yes this is the guru that I have been searching in my life. This was a tough decision how to find this person and how to convince her? Will she accept you as a student? If not then what months of effort of finding a guru down the drain? He saw somwhere "You are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream". He had a dream and a goal - to find the person and convince her to accept him as a student. Rajiv went about it seriously for 2 years with no luck at all. In the blog there was a mention of Yoga classes to be launched and CDs showing the various Yog asanas. On further probing there was mention of a book store in the city where the CDs where available. The next day Rajiv was outside the shop at 8:00 am hoping to get a copy of the CDs. The shop opened at 10:00 am. Rajiv egarly asked for the CDs. No set was available! But it could be arranged and ordered for 1000 Rs. The shop keeper was surprised he was still interested. For Rajiv it was as if he was buying gold. He was told that there are Yoga classes starting and he could register. Rajiv could not believe it was it for real? Was he going to meet his guru finally? Rajiv enquired with the shop keeper if he could meet the teacher. The shopkeeper called someone on the phone and said the person was coming. Great! Rajiv decided to stayput till the person came. Time passed slowly he enquired at regular intervals about the Yoga teacher and each time the bookseller called someone and told him to wait, it was evening and getting dark. Rajiv did not eat anything and only had water waiting patiently outside the bookshop taking no chances of missing his guru. At 7:00 pm Rajiv informed the bookseller he had waited the whole day and was informed to wait another 30 minutes. To his word finally from the shadows emerged a very fit middle aged lady. She went into the bookshop and came out to meet Rajiv, she said "I am Mahima Sharma a yoga instructor do you have a question?" Rajiv said "Please consider me as your student I would be happy to learn yoga from you, if you do not find me fit I will work on it and improve till you approve". To this Mahima replied "The patience that you have shown by waiting for me from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm speaks for itself, I feel if you can do this then you do not need Yoga at all, are you really sure?" Rajiv replied "Yes, I request you to give me an opportunity to touch your feet and take blessings right now"
