In Gurgaon like most Indian cities you must be aware of a minimum of 360 Deg around you. Any part that defines a noun (with one exception i.e. place) viz. name, animal or thing can come at you.
The nearby chowk does not have its signals on even for 5% of the time. Whenever they are on, people do not believe that a red light would turn green so proceed happily. The chowk also has some signals pointing in the wrong direction of the road probably for those who regularly drive in the wrong direction.
