The College Bell (A Poem)

The bell in the college rings

and everyone it pleases

As the working time

for everybody decreases

Thank God! It never
forgets to ring
a full day at college
I can't imagine spending
When lectures are
drab and boring
You always take
so long to ring
But when they become
interesting you interupt
Putting an end to them
In a way so abrupt
I like all the bells
each easing me
But the final bell
really makes me glee
Though everyone in college
you profoundly please
After the final one
In their minds you cease
